Shipping Rates and Policies

SHIPPING, RETURN, REFUND, AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

 

Shipping charges include postage, handling, and packaging.  Standard shipping method is by US Postal Service First Class Mail or UPS Ground depending on weight and dimensions.

 

Products are shipped in protective packaging to ensure products arrive in good condition.  Shipment of stock items will be made within 72 hours of order placement upon receipt of credit card authorization.  For non-stock or backordered items, an email will be sent within 24 hours of order placement indicating an estimated delivery time.  Delivery times for backordered items vary depending on location of supplier.  Notification of shipment will be made via email. 

 

Our rates and shipping methods are described below.

 

USA ONLY

 

USPS Flat rate $5.00. 

 Insurance:  Base rate $1.75 for insurance (optional) for orders up to $50.00.  Orders $50.00-$99.00, add $1.00.  Orders $100.00-$199.00, add $2.00, etc.   We are not responsible for replacement shipments or refunds for those orders that are not insured. 

 

Other Countries 

 

We do not ship outside of the Continental US

 

Return/Refund Policy

 

Due to copyright restrictions, charts and kits cannot be returned.  Floss, fabrics, or any opened packages are also non-returnable.  We urge you to review your selections before finalizing your purchase.

 

Other accessory items may be returned for a refund, subject to a 10% restocking fee if in original condition, in unopened packaging, and if returned within 30 days from shipping date.  Return shipment is at customer’s expense and no shipping costs will be refunded.  Items cannot be returned for exchange.

 

An authorization to return with instructions must be obtained via email prior to return shipment.

 

Cancellation Policy

 

Orders may be cancelled only prior to shipment notification email being sent to the customer.  A cancellation notice must be emailed by the customer to info@stitchtraders.com.  An email acknowledgment of order cancellation will be sent to the customer.  Orders may be processed and shipped on the same day, therefore, we cannot ensure that a cancellation notice will be received in time to prevent shipment of order.  Once an order has been shipped, returns and refunds are subject to the return and refund policy.
